Must Try Sandwiches in Maui, Hawaii

I listed down my top 4 mouth-watering sandwiches and restaurants that you can find on this island.

The Fish Market Maui - This restaurant understands how to serve tasty and fresh seafood sandwiches, tacos, poke, and any other fish dish you can think of. They offer locally caught fish every day, so it's as fresh as it gets! Their tuna melt is my favorite sandwich. The tuna mix is grilled to bring out the flavors. On onion buns, lettuces, tomato, caramelized onions, and cheese accompany the tuna mix.  While you're there, try their baja fish taco! Oh, and there's the chowder. And then there's the lobster sandwich. Heck, just try everything!

Ba- Le - Not in the mood for a traditional American sandwich? A Vietnamese staple, the banh mi sandwich, is a must-try! What better location to find this delicacy than Ba - Le? You must visit one of the three places, one in Kihei, one in Wailuku, and one in Dairy Road. You may select from a variety of proteins and tastes, including teriyaki beef, fried fish, lemongrass chicken, vegetarian alternatives like avocado, and my personal favorite, lemongrass tofu. It's served on fresh-baked French bread with pickled daikon, carrots, parsley, and homemade mayo. If you prefer a more buttery and softer bite, replace the bread with a croissant for an extra $1.

Hawaiian Moons and Natural Foods - Hawaiian Moons serves some of the best organic, healthier sandwiches around! There are vegan and meat alternatives available, so everybody is welcome to sample this eatery. They include wraps, rolls, juices, and acai bowls on their menu in addition to sandwiches. They also include a salad bar and a hot bar. I could go on and on, but since we're talking about sandwiches, I'll highlight my personal favorite, the vegan portabello pesto panini. It's so good because it's made with things that aren't so nasty. The focaccia bread that comes with it is prepared by a local company called Blue Door Bread Company, and it's unique in that it's vegan and produced with only natural ingredients. How did I find out about this location? I used to work here so I knowwww lol!

808 on Main - Okay, so I had planned to visit this restaurant for a long but didn't. My sister brought leftovers of the spicy tuna melt panini home one day, and I ate that sandwich wishing I had visited this eatery sooner. I have had tuna melts before, except this place adds cheese on top of cheese, sambal aioli, and Anaheim and jalapeño peppers for a spicy kick. Its a comfort food for me.
